The City of Savannah's Animal Services department strives to protect public health and welfare while enforcing humane animal treatment.

It is also our mission

to provide safe, humane shelter for unwanted, stray, abused and impounded animals and to educate the public about responsible animal care, pet ownership and living with wildlife in hopes of reducing the number of unwanted animals in the community.
